Slider Interface (Field Setting)
Changes the editable display of a number field so that a user does not need to type in the values but instead uses a slider to choose the value.
Settings
Slider Interface - Enables or disables the slider display.
Minimum Value - This determines the lower bounds of the range of values that a user may choose from. This value will be included as a value that the user can pick.
Minimum Value Label - The value determined by the
Expression Builder will be displayed to the left of the slider interface.
Maximum Value - This determines the upper bounds of the range of values that a user may choose from. This value will be included as a value that the user can pick.
Maximum Value Label - The value determined by the
Expression Builder will be displayed to the right of the slider interface.
Step the value in increments of - The step value of a slider will determine the valid values between the minimum and maximum value. For example if the minimum value and the maximum value were 0 and 1 respectively and the step increment is .1 then the valid values for the slider would be 0,.1,.2,.3,.4,.5,.6,.7,.8,.9,1.
Show a Scale - If this option is set to yes then a scale below the slider will be displayed.
How many steps are in between each label on the scale - This setting is the number to increment the scale by until the maximum value is reached and the scale will be displayed evenly across the bottom of the slider. Assuming a min value of 0 and a maximum value of 1 with step increment of .1: if the steps between each label is set to .2 the scale will contain the values 0,.2,.4,.6,.8,1 spaced evenly across the bottom. This setting does not affect the valid values and only displays a scale.
