====== Linked Record Picker ====== Also known as:\\ bound pick list How to Create Linked Item Pickers When using multiple Relationships, it is useful to limit selections of Items with one Item Picker by what has already been selected by another Item Picker. When an Item Picker is properly set up as a child of another, only Items related to the Item selected by the parent Item Picker by a given Relationship will be selectable by the child. Place Item Pickers on the page. Answer the wizard questions (a) Field Name, (b) Select from (For the child Picker, your selection does not matter) (c) Relationship (only if you desire). Edit the picker you wish to be the parent, and under the "Picker Settings," fill in the box labeled "Item Picker - Choose Child" with the Picker you wish to use as the child. Edit the Picker you wish to be the child, and under the "Picker Settings" tab of the Block Editor, fill in the box labeled "Item Picker - Choose Parent" with the Picker you wish to use as the parent. Revisit the "Picker Settings" tab of the Block Editor for the child picker, and click the map labeled "Choose From a List of Items, and Possibly Relate Them." You will now see that the inherited map is the map defined in the "Choose From a List of Items..." Field on the parent Item Picker. Navigate from this Item across whatever Relationship you desire to the Item Type to be selected by the child Item Picker. Save the Query Builder. Be sure to test your setup to ensure that the proper selection of Items is available for the child Picker.
