This setting allows you to specify a local [[Query Builder|query]] that will be different than the global query for this field. This is helpful when you wish to display a filtered list to users. For example, you may have a [[Field Type - Selection|selection field]] for Employees, but on this particular [[Form|form]], you wish to filter for Employees of a department that was specified on the previous page.
