====== Handling Total (Field Setting) ======

The **Handling Total** is the portion of the [[Field Setting - Order Total|Order Total]] that the buyer is being charged for handling.  The value passed in must adhere to any currency rules regarding limits and decimal places that are in place for the [[Field Setting - Currency|Currency]] chosen.  When presented to the end user on the PayPal Express Checkout Page this value will be summed with the [[Field Setting - Shipping Total|Shipping Total]] and presented and one Shipping and Handling Line item.  When an payment is viewed in the PayPal payment portal the two values will be seperate line items.

This field combined with the [[Field Setting - Order Item Title|Order Item Title]], [[Field Setting - Order Total|Order Total]], [[Field Setting - Item Total|Item Total]], [[Field Setting - Shipping Total|Shipping Total]], [[Field Setting - Tax Total|Tax Total]], and [[Field Setting - Shipping Discount|Shipping Discount]] will make up the details provided to the buyer in the cart portion of the PayPal Express Checkout Screen.
