====== Tax Total (Field Setting) ======

The **Tax Total** is the portion of the [[Field Setting - Order Total|Order Total]] that the buyer is being charged for tax.  The value passed in must adhere to any currency rules regarding limits and decimal places that are in place for the [[Field Setting - Currency|Currency]] chosen.

This field combined with the [[Field Setting - Order Item Title|Order Item Title]], [[Field Setting - Order Total|Order Total]], [[Field Setting - Item Total|Item Total]], [[Field Setting - Shipping Total|Shipping Total]], [[Field Setting - Handling Total|Handling Total]], and [[Field Setting - Shipping Discount|Shipping Discount]] will make up the details provided to the buyer in the cart portion of the PayPal Express Checkout Screen.
